Cosan is the Irish Gaelic word for path. We chose this name to represent the many paths that people can take to wellness. We are here to help you find your unique path.

Our mission is to provide mental health counseling services for adolescents, young adults, and families to guide them through their journey to wellness of both mind and body. We specialize in eating disorders, depression, and anxiety utilizing individual, family, and group therapy modules throughout treatment. Our background incorporates family based treatment, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness in a strengths-based model. We believe everyone deserves optimal care individualized for his or her personal needs and make it our mission to provide this.
Emily Harpur, MSW, LISW-S
Emily graduated from the University of Notre Dame and earned her Master's of Social Work at The Ohio State University. She most recently worked at Nationwide Children's Hospital, where she developed her passion for working with eating disorders.
She has over 6 years of experience working in eating disorders and crisis intervention with youth coping with severe depression, anxiety and self-harm. She incorporates a blend of cognitive behavioral therapy, family therapy, and client centered therapy with additional focus on mindfulness in her treatment. Emily presented at the National Association of Social Work (NASW) Conference in 2016 & 2017 on eating disorder treatment. Emily continues to be dedicated to her work in eating disorder recovery along with related diagnoses of depression, anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorder. Currently, her concentration is on developing holistic treatment options to help youth and families find their path to wellness.
Rashel Krankovich-Baum, MSW, LISW
Rashel is committed to the mental health and well-being of her clients. Rashel received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (B.A.) degree from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico and her Masters of Social Work (M.S.W) degree from Ohio University.
Rashel assists clients coping with eating disorders, depression, and anxiety. She specializes in working with individual adolescents and young adults, along with their family supports and in a group setting. Rashel utilizes a blend of cognitive behavioral, solution focused and client centered therapy, while incorporating elements of family based therapy. Rashel is skilled in crisis intervention and safety assessments. She has experience in community mental health and international humanitarian aid. Rashel has had the privilege of presenting at the annual National Association of Social Workers Ohio conference in 2016 and 2017 on the subject of treatment for adolescents with eating disorders.
Rio, CGC (Canine Good Citizen)
Rio is our office dog and receptionist! She has passed her AKC Gold Star Puppy and Canine Good Citizen certifications, and is training to be a licensed therapy dog. Rio loves her job, people (especially kids), and peanut butter. She's available to sit in on sessions, and only charges in belly rubs!
